About Shinji Kandaカンダシンジ
Kyoto-based fine artist who illustrates trading cards as a parallel practice. Classically trained; solo exhibitions at KUNST ARZT in Kyoto. Debuted as a Pokémon TCG illustrator in February 2022 with Magmar and Sawk for Brilliant Stars. Known for moody, ink-heavy compositions that layer ukiyo-e textures and kamon motifs over modern fantasy scenes; pareidolia-friendly hidden details in the backgrounds.
